Plan the session so nobody has to rush to the camera between commitments. Familiar objects, a short break and the chance to simply watch can help children. Not every photograph needs to show everyone at once.
What you can prepare
Think of a place where you enjoy spending time and two or three things you do there together. Tell us beforehand which relationships or generations matter most to you. A short list gives direction without fixing the entire session.
